WOW!  We have over 100 kids meeting Monday's for club down at Pybus Market, and we are so grateful to them for letting us meet there!  Our dream is to have a second building built here, next to the current YL house where we can have club. There are over 7,000 middle school and high school kids in the Wenatchee Area, and we want to reach them all!

We've had a few versions of the new clubhouse drawn up, and will hopefully have some online soon.

The Clubhouse

Problem: Overcrowded
Wenatchee and Eastmont kids have been meeting at the Pybus Public Market Event Center for the past three years; Pybus has served us well!

The space at Pybus has allowed us to accomodate a growing population of kids who weekly attend Young Life (100 on average).

Pybus has plans to remodel that section of the building and we will be out of a space to meet in for a indeterminate time.

While this could be viewed as a obstacle, we at NCW Young Life see it as a opportunity to make an even bigger impact in our ministry and in the lives of kids!

Solution: Big Picture
"The Clubhouse," a 2,000 sqft multi-purpose meeting space on the west-end of the Young Life House property, (1200 S. Miller, Wenatchee).

The Clubhouse will serve as a meeting place for all of our large group programs: Wyldlife, Young Life, Capernaum and YoungLives and Young Life College. The building will allow us to customize the space to fit our current and future needs. It will greatly reduce the staff and volunteer hours required to setup and tear-down Pybus, and will setup a second-phase project of some much needed updating of the Young Life House to contemporary standards.

The meeting place will be made available for use by other community organizations, in a expressed goal of building collaborative efforts and relationships.

We are better together!
NEXT: let's build it!
Initial Clubhouse plans have been drawn up by Architect Justin Borst, Sigma Architecture (see pictures above). We are grateful for his vision and hard work in seeing this project out of the starting block.

Conversations have been initiated on a larger scale in pursuit of community partnerships, local buy-in, and next-step directives.  Bottom-line, if getting the Clubhouse built for Young Life is exciting to you we'd love to talk; you have a part to play!

We see the Clubhouse as a project that can really propel NCW Young Life to the next level, as we envison community exposure, buy-in, service and impact.  Not simply to our programs but to the larger goal of community action and changed lives.

Join the team, let's build the Clubhouse.
